<the barry harris institute of jazz> (“bhij”) was formed for the purpose of protecting, preserving, and promulgating the musical compositions, teachings, and musical legacy of Barry Harris. the institute has launched a number of initiatives aimed at these objectives. bhij is also working to collect and archive the music and music related artifacts barry left behind.
